This is a video of a gay man asking questions about PrEP once he initially finds out about it. It starts off with him viewing someone’s profile on Grindr and noticing that the guy he is looking at says he is on PrEP in his profile description. He asks himself what it is.
It then goes on to several cut scenes about him asking various questions about the medicine. He is asking questions about how many pills a person has to take and how often they have to take them. He continues to ask other people if they are on PrEP and questions if he should be on it or not.
Some of the other questions he asks in the cut scenes are if insurance is needed for it, what type of side effects a user gets from the pill, and if it prevents any other STDs. He questions if the pill is for him and declares that he has so many questions about it. He is worried about the side effects from the pill and how many people experience the side effects. He is also seen asking friends if it prevents gonorrhea, syphilis, genital warts, and other common STDs.
The last few cut scenes show him talking about CHN, or the Community Healthcare Network, which provides people with free HIV testing and gives them access to the medication. He initially asks what CHN is, and then decides that he is going to go there himself. He tells his friends that he is going to go to CHN and suggests that they do the same. The video ends with a phone number and website link to get in touch with CHN.
