misterb&b is the largest gay hotelier in the world. It is a website that allows LGBTQ community members to feel exceptionally comfortable when they decide to travel. It’s a bit like AirBnB, which is also a service that allows people with available space to house travelers and provide a unique experience rather than the normal hotel room stay. I wanted to take the time to provide a misterb&b review because I really had a positive experience from beginning to end. I talked to my partner and we mutually decided to test the service. We wanted to host guests who were “family”, or members of our community, in our second bedroom that hadn’t been used for anything except storage.
After spending all day organizing, cleaning, and setting up the room, we were ready for our guests to arrive. It was definitely easy to register and navigate the website. The site matched us with a newly married couple that was visiting New Orleans and had driven all the way from Canada. My partner and I allowed the couple to get settled and then we introduced ourselves formally and gave them a tour of the common areas.
They would be coming to stay with us for 2 nights. Before they arrived I was a bit nervous, but I contacted customer support and they were more than happy to help me calm my nerves. They provide us with further information about our guests and reassured us that they would be available to assist us throughout the entire process. We really had an amazing time with the couple while they were in the house. I enjoyed the opportunity to meet amazing people who had come from a different part of the world and we were more than happy to provide our guests with all of the details about our city. I will write another misterb&b review to keep you updated on my experience.
