Danilo, can you please introduce yourself shortly?
My name is Danilo, I’m 29 yo and I come from Naples, in southern Italy. Naples is the city where pizza was invented! I was a kind of pastry chef, I worked in various stores, did the waiter, and sometimes I am a model, sometimes work for others for fun. I love music, I’m into electronic Scandinavian music, trip hop and any other type of experimental music.
Is Naples a gay friendly destination?
Naples is not really the typical modern city where the gay scene is quite entrenched in restaurants, meeting places or bars… It’s one of the most characteristic cities of Italy, with its old world charm, an underground city and about 450 churches affected by various types of art and dominations. For example, you have the very special Sansevero chapel with these anatomical machines and the Veiled Christ. The views, the ancient charm and the food are the 3 highlights of this city. It’s a city to experiment more in a romantic way. Everybody who comes here falls in love.
If you are into the gay side of Italy, you should prefer Milan instead. It hosts the main events and fairs. Rome attracts far more tourists and there are many gay organizations there, just to name the main cities.
What are your other favorite destinations?
I travel frequently, my last trip was to Tel Aviv, and i will go back soon. But for now I’m curious to discover Turkey. Above all I’m maturing the idea of going to live in another European city, but for now I don’t know which one.
Can you share more about you?
I cannot claim to be a sincere guy, simple, stubborn, the boy next door and other self-references. I am everything and its opposite J I love doing sports and feeling fit and healthy. I am single now and very focused to find my way. Rimbaud is my man and I could spend days reading his poetry.
“Jadis, si je me souviens bien, ma vie était un Festin s’ouvraient où tous les cœurs, où tous les vins coulaient. Un soir, j’ai la Beauté assis sur mes genoux. - Et je l’ai trouvée amère. – Et je l’ai injuriée.”
