Gay life in Madrid
Madrid is the highest capital in Europe (over 600 meters AMSL). It can be very cold in the winter time, and is usually terribly hot during the summer. Madrid offers all the attractions of a major European capital. Dozens of museums (Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum, Reina Sofia), monuments (Royal Palace, Atocha station, Basilica San Isidro), huge parks (Casa del Campo, Retiro), an efficient, clean and air conditioned transport system, a reasonably-sized city-center, and shops that will delight all shopping addicts (El Corte Ingles, Zara, Bershka, Pull & Bear, XTG or ES for local brands).
But beyond these essential, Madrid is above all a city to experience: you must take time to enjoy a drink under the arcades of the Plaza Mayor, cut through the crowd to Puerta Del Sol, walk the streets of Malasaña, the birthplace of Movida, or Chueca, Madrid's gay district, and of course feel the fever of Madrid's nightlife. And if you really want to know Madrid, then come and be part of the Gay Pride parade next year! Orgullo ("pride") is the largest party of the year in Madrid. In July's first days, the city suddenly loses all inhibitions. During a weekend, everyone unites, partying half-naked, agglutinated on the streets of Chueca. Gorgeous-looking and seductive, the parade walks across Gran Via, under water buckets thrown by accomplice local residents.
Madrid has fun. Madrid is a fiesta. A fiesta not to be missed!

La-bas rien ne choque, les garçons s'embrassent dans la rue...Les musées, les endroits branchés ou encore les lieux typiques espagnols font de cette capitale un endroit magique ou il fait bon s'amuser ! Los angeles c'est bien aussi et surtout MIAMI
Ville de coeur! J'y ai vécu pendant 1 an! C'est une ville très gay-friendly! Beaucoup de garçons se tiennent la main sans problème et les gens ne font même pas attention, les madrilènes sont très tolérants! Une très belle ville où il fait bon vivre d'être gay!
MAdrid est une ville très attrictive, on y retrouve des côtés typiques espagnols (bars à tapas, concerts de flamenco...) mais aussi des aspects plus "européens" (grands magasins de vêtements, boites de nuit...), qui rendent cette ville très accessible, on s'y sent chez soi! C'est vraiment à faire, la fête y est démente!!
