At first known for its developed hyper branch of industry, Hamburg is above all an open and liberal city which knows an immense cultural melting pot. Indeed, it's one of bigger harbour cities of Europe and the 2nd most important city of Germany after Berlin.
Hamburg possesses an active gay entertainment which distances itself from the other competitors! Two districts are typically gays: the district Saint Pauli, known as the warmest of Europe, who extends over all the street " Reeperbahn " and the district St Georg situated during the street " Lange Reihe ", who possesses the most beautiful gay sauna of Hamburg and where concentrates all the scene gay leather.
Indeed, what makes the peculiarity of the city it is the tradition of the Gay leather, the real institution in Hamburg. This image masculine of the man was born here and an exhibition photos of this culture of the gay leather is installed in a permanent way in the most famous gay bar of the city, the Tom Saloon. Finally, more than the Gay Pride, it is the festival of the gay leather in Hamburg which is expected with impatience. This festival takes place every year in August and is organized from now on on a cruise ship.
