Gay life in Florence

Florence, ex moving plate of the trade and the finance became a reference in the domains of the Art, the architecture and the Culture today.

Emblem of the Italian Renaissance, Florence is every year invaded by uncountable tourists. It's indeed one of cities the most visited to the world. It's thus at the end of the day, when all this tourist disappeared that it's pleasant to walk in the center of Florence.

However, the gay scene is not really very developed. The strict legislation and the strong conservative influence make that most of the gays prefer to live outside of the city. So most of the establishments gays also relocated a few kilometers away from Florence.
