Bordeaux is now completely renovated and highlights its cultural capital as it had never been able to before. She has been a tourist destination even more popular. Over 300 buildings of Bordeaux were classified as historical monuments including three World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Bordeaux is the capital of wine and one of the cities or French culture and the more present and represented. However the city is not very gay friendly. Most gay establishments are located outside the city center. However, the platform of the Paludate hosts gay-friendly restaurants, like the street of the currency and ten minutes away on foot.
Finally, Bordeaux still organizes an annual Gay Pride in mid June which starts Victory Square and ends at the village Courses Tournon gay and lesbian associations.
